Brother Amresh shares his 12-year convert story, from his first introduction to Islam in 2006 to his shahadah in 2018. He tells us how reflection on monotheism was a big factor towards his conversion and shares how his Muslim friends & organisations out there are a blessing to him.

In this circuit breaker, he also shares about praying alone, online classes and zoom meetings. It is a different Ramadan but it can be a better Ramadan!

7: First Ramadan with Sis Elli

Sister Ellina is a 2nd gen Muslim whose dad is a Chinese Convert. She shares her experiences & perspectives growing up as a 2nd gen Muslim and her journey with Ramadan from her days in Primary School to now.

From a not-so practising background, her story is a story of how faith goes up & down and how the Mercy & Guidance of Allah SWT in Ramadan helped her get back to Islam when she faltered. She also shares about the changes in her Ramadan in 2020 due to the circuit breaker!

Sister Cynthia @ Aisya is a Filipino Muslim who was raised in a Catholic family. Her story is one that exemplifies Allah's Mercy and Power. Sister Aisya shows us that the Mercy of Allah S.W.T comes in a plethora of ways, and we have to trust His plans and be patient. Her story also teaches us not to judge Muslims who we do not see observing their obligations as their characters may be much better than ours.

Brother Hadi Tan is a 64 year-old Chinese Muslim who took his Shahadah 29 years ago in 1991. His story is towards Islam is a story of brotherhood and accentuates the huge impact that all of us have on the people around us. We learn that brotherhood goes beyond building bonds but also about spreading the beauty of Islam through our behavior and grace.
